I've concluded on this as my final narrative:
"To escape the repitition of her work environment, the usherette seeks solace to make a phone call; a desparate reach for freedom of the mind, whilst her body must remain grounded."
As the building is a manifestation of her mental state, the site is an abstract, mental location.
I've settled on using Aluminium as my primary material. It is both hard and lightweight, posessing a dual quality which expresses her state of mind (and it's versitile to use!)
Massing-wise, it has a heavy, geometric form weighting down a more whimsical, organic form.
But enough on explaining the conceptual, i hope the design will speak for itself. Here are the drawings and model.
